Rescue Squad

Volunteers are any male or female, who is at least 16 years of age and has the proper working papers, who assist with daily squad duties. These individuals must go through proper background checks as required by state law. 

Volunteers can assist in many aspects of the squad. They can help with administration duties or even work with our board of directors (who are all volunteers!) Volunteers are treated just like any crew member on the operations side. This includes duties such as assisting in vehicle and building cleanliness, working standbys, or riding on actual 911 emergency calls. 

The best part about being a volunteer is that you not only are assisting your community, but you also get hands on training for a great career! After attending the proper courses, and getting ample volunteer hours, you can transition from volunteer to a career member.
